Sherri Ann Kirby

Sherri Ann Kirby, 62, of Homosassa Fl., passed away on November 24, 2017 under the care of Hospice of Citrus County in Lecanto, FL.
Sherri was born on 12/28/54 in Parma Ohio to Ralph Zieger Sr. and Louise Palmer Zieger.
Sherri was a Penn State Alum. She spent her career within the hospitality industry with management tenure in the Best Western organization.
She had a fondness of nature, animals and gardening. In her retirement years she founded Kirby's Kritters Pet Sitting Service.
Everyone who knew Sherri loved her...without exception
She is survived by her husband Ron, who resides in the marital home in Sugarmill Woods, by her only son Christopher Zaney of Miami, Fl. his wife Mary Elizabeth and grandchildren Kaia and Ryan, by her father Ralph Zieger Sr. of Thompson, GA., her brothers Ralph Zieger Jr. and wife Cathy of Crystal River, FL and Thomas Fitzgerald of Jacksonville, FL. and sister Patricia Herbster of Marco Island, FL.
There will be a memorial service at the First United Methodist Church of Homosassa located at 8831 W. Bradshaw St., Homosassa, FL. 34448 at 10:00 AM on Friday December 1, 2017. A light lunch will be available at 11:00 AM following the service at the fellowship hall and concluding with a service at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 2:30 PM. The family asks for contributions to the National Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
