Richard Granger

Granger Richard Arlen, “Dick”, age 89, from Hernando passed away peacefully at home on January 18, 2022. A resident of Hernando since mid 1990s, Dick was born on February 15, 1932, to Ethelyn and Joseph L Granger in Frankfort, IN. Dick was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Beverly Hills. 

After retiring from a long career in IT, Dick continued working on computers, watching Doctor Who, playing chess, spending time with the family poodles, and traveling to Mexico. Dick, an eternal optimist, had a cheeky sense of humor. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Marlene G.; daughters Pamela, Cindy, and Rochelle, and his youngest and only son, Richard Jr., stepchildren Candida and Craig M., and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by his family and his three surviving siblings and their families. The family would like to express our thanks for the care and assistance given by staff at Vitas Healthcare during the last year of his life.
