Ora Jean White, 74, of Inverness, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 08, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Kenneth White and Etta Belle Duff.
Ora is survived by her long time life partner, Janice Maddox, as well as family members Kevin White and Cary White, along with many close friends whose lives were enriched by her adventurous spirit, warmth and amazing sense of humor.
Ora retired from the Goodyear Tire Company and spent her life embracing the things that brought her joy. She loved music and played guitar and several other instruments. She had a natural artistic talent and enjoyed drawing, and she was happiest when surrounded by animals, whom she loved dearly.
Ora was known for her adventurous spirit. She loved riding her motorcycle and was a proud member of the Stilettos motorcycle group, where she formed many treasured friendships. Whether on the open road or sharing stories and laughter with friends, Ora lived boldly and encouraged those around her to do the same.
Though she is gone from our sight, her spirit lives on in the love she shared and the lives she touched. For those who rode beside her, her road simply stretches beyond the horizon.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date details to be announced when finalized.
