Lori A. (Sweet) Maldonado, 53, of Inverness, FL went to be with her Lord, on her 30th wedding anniversary, June 25, 2018 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness FL with her family by her side. Lori was born September 25, 1964, the daughter of Edward and Laura Cota Sweet in Watertown, NY and graduated from South Jefferson High School, Adams, NY. She married Jerry Maldonado June 25, 1988 at the Methodist Church in Watertown, NY. She worked for many years as a CNA at various hospitals in the Watertown and Rochester NY area and later Florida where the couple moved to. She touched many children’s lives through Children’s Ministry. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 30 years Jerry, sons Joshua (Chelsey Gordon), and Deven who were the pride and joy of her life, grandsons Dominque and Kayden and granddaughter Alea, seven brothers, Jim and his wife Mary of Watertown NY, Chuck and his companion Holly Austin of Philadelphia NY, Mark and his wife Annie of East Rodman NY, Carmen and his partner James Randall of Lowville NY, Sherman and his companion Ruth Lee of Bunell, FL, Randy and his wife Karen of Rutland NY, Brian and his wife Sheila of Hernando FL, her “chosen sister” Sherry (McCormick) Smith of Tylerville NY, and a brother-in-law of her late sister Cheryl, Richard Pernell of Bunell, FL. She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Laura Sweet, her sister Cheryl, sister-in -law Sue Sweet (wife of Chuck) and a grand-nephew Timmy Reynolds III. There will be no services in Florida. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Watertown. Donations can be made in Lori’s memory to a favorite Children’s Ministry of choice.
