Larry David Hessie Sr.

Larry D. Hessie, Sr., 69, entered into eternity on September 15, 2015 at his home after a battle with illness. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mildred (Krenzer) Hessie; his five sons - Larry Hessie, Jr. & wife Sandi, David Hessie & wife Tina, John Coleman & wife Melissa, Victor Hessie & wife Diana, and Mark Hessie & wife Stephanie; his sisters - Linda Gebhardt & husband Jim, Agnes Eisenhart, and Mary Cutsail. He was predeceased by his sister Jean Tevis. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many close friends.
     Born Sept. 26, 1945 in Baltimore, MD, son of Linwood & Evelyn Hessie (Williams), he was a longtime resident of Maryland until moving to Florida in 1999. In his early years, Larry was a route salesman for Wonder Bread/Hostess, then later worked 20 years for Entenmann's Bakery, followed by Citrus County Public School Transportation. He loved his family, his co-workers, gospel music, fishing, and making others laugh.
