Gerritje Bink

Gerritje (Gerda) Bink, age 92; Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on 3/3/23 surrounded by family.

She was born on 11/27/1930 in Woerden, Netherlands, growing up in Sumatra Indonesia.

Daughter of Gerrit and Maria (Hage) Van Halen

Gerda was a survivor of the WWII Japanese Prisoner of War camps in Indonesia.

Married to Idsard (Max) Bink, in Windsor Ontario Canada on 5/22/1954.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband, brother, and sister.

She is survived by her four children: Marten Bink (Jim), Diane Marks (George), David Bink (Annette), and Irene Vogel (Alex)

Eight Grandchildren: Heather, Tabbetha (Taylor), Kameron (Eva), Olivia, Justin (Erin), Katie (Jamie), Lucas (Caitlyn), and Brandon

3 Great-Grandchildren: Hayden, Kaia, and Maximilian.

And numerous nieces and nephews scattered worldwide.
