Gary Jones

Gary Allen Jones, 70, of Hernando, FL passed away on June 17, 2016.  Gary was born on September 29, 1945 to Roland and Sylvia Jones in Watertown, NY.  He graduated from Watertown High School in 1963, attended Miner Institute College Study in 1964, and attended the University of the State of New York to become a Registered Professional Nurse.  In 1977, he became a Certified RN Anesthetist.  He served honorably in the US Army at Sierra Army Depot, part of the Sixth US Army in Herlong, CA. 
Gary enjoyed playing golf, fishing, reading, solving Sudoku, Quotefalls, and Algebra solutions.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Marilyn A. Bowers; daughter, Adrian (Mehmet) Akin of Fishers, IN; son, Todd Jones of Canterbury, CT; brother, Butch (Sharon) Oatman of Lorraine, NY; sister, Norma Purvis of Watertown, NY. 
 He was predeceased by three brothers, Kenneth Jones, David R. Jones, and Dennis Oatman; two sisters, Barbara Wunderlich and Beverly Potter; and niece, Laurie A Jones Williams.
