Edward Joseph Pratt, known affectionately as Eddie and Ed, passed unexpectedly on July 29, 2025 at his residence in Inverness, FL, at the age of 71. Born on February 27, 1954, in Pawtucket, RI.

Ed was a manufacturing machinist for 45 years. On March 24, 1973, Ed married the love of his life, Deborah, married for 52 years. Ed was a devoted husband and loving father. His greatest joy came from his wife, Deborah, and their four children. Ed volunteered for many years as a baseball coach; coaching his own children and grandchildren.

Ed enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid shooter. Many memories were created while enjoying camping, hunting, and fishing trips. Those who knew him will remember him for his unwavering love and commitment to his wife, Deborah, and their four children. Ed's vast wisdom, ability to fix anything, his sense of humor, and strong family values will be missed dearly. " It's not goodbye, it's, see you later."

Ed is survived and missed dearly by his loving wife, Deborah, and four children: Kristi Jones, Edward Pratt Jr. and his wife Nikki, Kerri Pratt, and Michael Pratt.

Forever cherished and remembered by his eight grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Alex, Jaimie, Julie, Kayla, Anthony, Evan, and Michael Jr. and two great grandchildren: Damien and Jada.

Ed is also survived by his siblings: Linda, Butch, and Patty. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends; including the Scott family, Lori and Doug.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Helen Pratt.
