Carl Patterson

Carl Benjamin Patterson, 58, born on July 14, 1964 in Clearwater, FL, passed away on April 1, 2023 in Hernando, FL after a 3 year battle with cancer. He was known for his sarcasm and his free spirit. He spent over 35 years as a truck driver and had many stories to tell. If he wasn’t working, you could find him fishing, talking on his CB radio as “Blacksheep#7”, or laughing with friends and family. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; Troy Patterson and Joan Patterson and Brother; Wayne patterson. Survived by his wife Holly Patterson(Schmidt) of Bartow, FL, Daughter Nicole (Clayton) Smith of Hernando, FL, Son, Trent (Amanda) Patterson of Brooksville, FL, Step-sons; Steve (Angela) Helm of Bartow, FL, Alex Clay of Seattle, WA, and Ronald Clay of Haines City, FL, Brothers; Mike (Julie) Patterson of Jacksonville, FL and Brad Patterson of Azusa, CA, Sister, Sherie (Joe) Kapocsi of Spring, TX, 4 Grandchildren; Talon Patterson, Bristol Smith, Layton Smith and Caleb Helm, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
